Brazil Nuts
Wild Amazon

Photo Gallery

  Welcome to Brazil,
5th largest country in the world,
where everything is grand,
wild and wonderful

Our tour begins
in the Pantanal region,
teeming with wildlife

  Get out in nature
for close-up
observation of . . .

  . . . caiman, . . .
  . . . capybara, . . .
  . . . herons, and
hundreds of
other species

  A three-night stay
at our remote lodge is
the perfect introduction
to Wild Brazil

  A transfer day
takes us to Manaus,
gateway to the Amazon,
for a night at the
Tropical Hotel

  Classic Amazon cruise boats
like this one are everywhere,
but ours is new and luxurious,
and called the Amazon Clipper

  For three nights aboard,
our clipper takes us deep
into the Amazon, to places
where time stands still

  Gone is the
hustle bustle of
city living. Nothing
here but open spaces . . .

  . . . simplicity, . . .
  . . . and the warmth
of friendly and
beautiful people

  And surrounding
everything is
the magnificent
Amazon jungle

  Towering trees
are wrapped in vines

  Walk into the
dark of the jungle

  Let your guide
introduce you to
some of the creatures
that make it their home

  Walk through an
old rubber plantation
slowly being reclaimed
by the jungle

  Visit the world’s largest
fresh water archipelago

  Try your hand
at fishing

  Or feed a
fresh-water
dolphin

  A cruise on the
Amazon River is
an unforgettable
experience

This expanse of
abundant fresh water
is life affirming

And as the sun
sets . . .

  . . . the speckles in
the sky are not caused
by a dirty lens, but
thousands of birds
coming in to roost
for the night. Magical!

  During our final morning
aboard, we see the
amazng phenomenon of
the meeting of the waters

Back in Manaus,
enjoy a city tour.

See mansions built
by rubber tycoons

  Visit the public
market made of
metal and designed
by Gustav Eiffel

  Marvel at the jewel
that is the Manaus
Opera House

  Finally, fly to the
Marvelous City,
Rio de Janeiro

  Crowds at the
Statue of Christ
the Reedemer

  The beaches are
fantastic, and every
nightfall the city . . .

  . . . comes alive to
the Samba beat

The main tour ends in Rio, but you are welcome to extend
your tour with a visit to Iguassu Falls and Buenos Aires

  Iguassu Falls is one
of the most inspiring
sights in the world

Our hotel is the only
one in the National Park,
located right at the Falls

This photo was taken
from the front
of the hotel

  The hotel is a
classic old building
which is kept in
beautiful repair

  The pool at our
Iguassu Falls hotel

  But the best place
to get wet is on the
walkways winding along,
and sometimes over,
Iguassu Falls

  There are countless
places to stop for
stunning photos

  Get a look into
the “Devil's Throat,”
which is where the
priest goes over the
Falls tied to a cross in the
film, “The Mission”

  On the Argentinian side
of the Falls a courtesy
tram helps cut down
on the walking time

  The rainbow says it's
your lucky day! See that
little boat down there?
Soon you will be aboard
for the thrill of you life!

  Your Macuco Safari
begins in a jeep-pulled
cart, as you travel through
the jungle to the riverbanks

  Boarding a high-speed
powerboat, let the
adventure begin

  Power up the
swiftly-flowing river
toward the source of
the column of spray ahead

  It is advisable to
put your good cameras
away at this point. From
here on out the ride
is wet and wild!

  Finally, continue to
one of the world's greatest
cities, Buenos Aires

Here you are likely to see
the passionate Tango
performed on any street

  It is a city of
fantastic architecture,
and some of the most
interesting styles can be
seen at the Recoleta Cemetery

  A spider has assisted
the mood by weaving
a veil of mourning

  Wind your way
through the narrow
streets of tombs . . .

  . . . until you reach the
final resting place of
Evita Peron

  Passionate, vibrant,
classical Buenos Aires is a
must-see if you have
come all this way!

  Cut loose and
go nuts with
Toto Tours in
Brazil and Argentina

It's a wild
jungle down there!

  You are sure
to have the
time of your life!
