Dear Friends:
If nobody has told you yet that they love you today, Jonathan and Dan at Toto Tours are sending warm hugs your way! And nothing helps to kindle all the passion inside quite as well as an adventure with a group of friends in an exotic destination. We have tours to some of the most romantic places on earth this year, from Austria to Argentina, from Bhutan to Bali, from Madagascar to Morocco. Our tours cannot help but enhance your love for adventure, for culture and cuisine. Give yourself and/or your loved one the gift of a Toto Tour on this special day!
The Road to Morocco
In just a few months you can find yourself riding across the Sahara desert on a camel, approaching a Bedouin encampment at dusk as drummers and dancers greet you and welcome you inside a Berber tent for an amazing evening under more stars than you have ever seen. Our host for this adventure is Don Hogle, who has previously hosted tours for us in China, Peru, India and Egypt. He recently wrote to previous travelers to encourage them to join him in Morocco, and we’d like to quote excerpts from his letter here:
---------------------
Hello, all you smart, trendy folks –
Toto Tours recently added a trip to Morocco as a replacement for their usual tour of Egypt (which I hosted this past November), and Dan Ware asked me to host that tour. I’ve always heard wonderful things about exotic Morocco from anyone who’s been there, so I didn’t hesitate to accept.
The tour starts in Casablanca on Saturday, May 19th and finishes in Marrakech on Wednesday, May 30. We visit all the major sections of this diverse country – Casablanca, Fez, Rabat, Marrakech, the seaside, the Atlas Mountains, and the desert. I hear the food is great, the people quite friendly, the guys are cute, and it’s probably the most stable part of North Africa these days -- so no worries from a security standpoint.
We will be a fairly small group, which is a really great way to travel. Toto Tours are geared to giving you a full exposure to the sights of the country, but we keep things flexible within the basic itinerary There is always some free time scheduled to explore on your own, or just lie by a pool at the hotel; and sometimes people opt out of a particular visit just to do something else they especially want to do that’s not on the schedule.
I hope some of you might be feeling bitten by the travel bug, and tempted to do something special to celebrate spring. If so, I hope you’ll consider joining me in Morocco.
All the best, Don

A Gathering of the Clan
Twenty-five previous and prospective Toto Tourists gathered for a party in Palm Springs on the evening of February 3rd. Our gracious hosts, Brian and Dominique, opened their home and made everyone welcome with a festive atmosphere. Dan showed a photo montage and talked about tours that are in the works for 2013. A name was drawn from among the participants to receive a $500 gift certificate toward a future Toto Tour. Congratulations to Joe G, the lucky winner! Attendees were asked to write on their drawing entry form the one destination in the world that is their dream vacation. The most frequently listed trip was an African safari. Perhaps that is why our Kenya and Madagascar tour is nearly sold out already. We will definitely be returning to Africa for another safari in 2013!
